5 Reasons To Watch Cricket

You must have been watching all sort of sports since your childhood. Or for that matter, ever since you remember. But here I am going to tell you the benefits of watching Cricket. And I am sure, by the end of this article, you would realize that no other sports can offer you what cricket can. There is actually no reason to regret that you could not become a world class cricketer. Even if you watch this high profile game, it has many advantages.
#1 .TEAM SPIRIT: Of course, there is something called as team spirit and it has nothing to do with sports guys. It forms a part of most of your daily activities. Cricket gives you the ultimate feeling of being a part of a team you are involved in. Sounds obvious, no it isn’t. When you watch a cricket match, you get to know how important it is to shed your personal interest for the sake of your team. This is exactly the case when you are working in your office with a group of youngsters. The ultimate aim is to make your team win. It actually doesn’t matter at all that you sacrificed your wicket(appreciation) for the set batsman(senior).
#2. NEVER SAY DIE ATTITUDE: The scoreboard reads 10 runs off 2 balls. And 99% of people still believe the target can be achieved. When Yuvraj or Dhoni is on crease, we do actually want it to be chased down. That is the way to go people. Why can’t you be a Yuvraj in your life. Cricket teaches you to never give in. You learn how to fight till the battle is not over. You want to give it your all. Cricket can turn a man into a fighter who says, “If the task is feasible, I am the one who would do it”.
#3.ENHANCE LEADERSHIP SKILLS: only cricket and no other form of sports can provide you with this facility. The sole reason is that cricket gives the captain complete time to strategise and re-strategise. Watching a great captain who has turned matches in his favour, you learn how to make the best use of your resources. You also learn how to keep your cool when the going gets tough. You learn how to take decisions and how to stand by them if they turn against you. Leadership is about motivating others to perform the desired action and that is exactly what a captain does when he tells his young bowler to bowl effectively, even if the captain isn’t a bowler himself. One cannot deny how important, leadership qualities are and when you can hone them sitting in your room while enjoying an Indo Pak battle, what better can you expect.
#4.IMPROVE YOUR ENGLISH: sounds a bit strange!! “How does watching cricket improves my English”, you must be wondering. This is one of the best and one of the rarest ways one has ever told you to work on your English. English is a basic necessity to prosper. You hear to the commentary while watching cricket. Well that is all you need to accomplish the objective. Now, because you know what is happening in the game, you keep learning new words and new phrases and you know what they mean. And believe me cricket commentators are not bad at this language (after all it is their bread and butter). Listening to the latest words and ever new style of speaking and expressing, your spoken and written English would improve by leaps and miles. This is something very practical and achievable.
#5.REJUVENATING EFFECT: I as a diehard fan of cricket can promise you the better effects of watching this game. It fills you with energy, refreshes you and acts as a stress booster much like what a cigarette does to a smoker. So in my point of view, whether you are a male or a female, just don’t shy away from the opportunity to watch cricket. WATCHING CRICKET is a BOON.

This is something that cricket offers you even if you don’t play it. Each and everyone watches cricket in India and the rest part of the world. So why watch it with guilt of wasting time. Watch it with confidence, because in the process of fulfilling your hobbies and relaxing your mind, you are actually doing a world of good to yourself and your skills.
